At the bottom of this page you will find our NEW TCAA CALENDAR with our upcoming agenda. It will show you the dates and places of our Tuesdays Open Studio Plein Air sites and what demonstrators are coming. The Tuesday Painters is open to all TCAA members, but really, consider joining us if you're not a member yet!
For only $25. a year you get to join in in a lot of inspiration, outdoor painting, exhibits, cameraderie and MORE.
We are artists in every stage of creating. From the 'just beginning' to quite advanced. We love to paint and do whatever kind of creating we can. From beautiful scenes to still lifes to figure drawing to abstracted arts. You'll hear about upcoming exhibits. We'll feel your joy in winning awards as well as that awful feeling of (unnecessary) rejection we just can't help feeling if we don't get an award. We're simply a "works in progress".

Our ongoing outdoor painting will be held on Tuesday mornings. Look at the Calendar at the bottom of the page for places and times.
The Stafford Library will again host TCAA members artwork. They will be displayed on the walls, easels, and in the showcase. 'Click Here' for a prospectus. Display dates are for the month of September. Drop off Sept 1, 10:00, pick up Sept 29 10:15 - 11:00. Car pooling to the library is an option. If you need help with drop-off or pick-up, please call or email Joyce Arthur, Georgianna Bourdeau, Susan Bosworth, or Heidi Ludwig.
Tolland Art Festival and Taste of Tolland will hold their first event on Sept 25 at the Tolland High School to celebrate Tolland being the 27th Best small town to live in in the Nation! They're looking for artist participation, as well as to invite you to come and enjoy the day. There will be food, childrens games and events, and an art show that will include a childrens display area and an adult display area. Tobacco Valley Artists Association Suffield Fine Arts Festival Sept. 25, from 9:30 - 4:00 on the grounds of the King House Museum, 232 South Main St, Suffield, CT. Rain date is Saturday, October 2, 2010.
All artists are invited to participate. A 10' X 10' space is available for $20. non-members. Artists may share space for $10. each. An art group may have a 10' X 10' space for $30. Applications and additional information are available by call Claire Ledoux 860-668-6786
Autumn in the Park will again be held in Hyde Park in Stafford Springs. It will have ongoing visual and performing artists doing their thing from 11am to sunset. Sounds nice and interesting as well.

TCAA's Annual Open Show will again be held at the South Windsor Library in the Friend's Room for the month of November. Applications will be handed out at the Sept. 14 meeting at the Art Center in Tolland, 7pm. And sent out to anyone else interested. Contacts are Susan Bosworth and Jane Burr. A Celebration of the Arts Festival will be held on Dec. 4 at the new Storrs Community Church, 90 Tolland Turnpike Rd, Coventry. We're looking for artists and crafters to sell their wares. The Festival will run from 10-4. This is the same festival that was held for many years in the VCMS school in Vernon. There'll be art things as well as food.
