Tolland County Art Association Open Studio aka "Tuesday Painters" will resume their weekly open studio starting October 2 at the Arts of Tolland building on Tolland Green in Tolland, CT Contact Ronnie for information.
Monthly Demos, held at the Tolland Art Center, Tolland Green at 7pm, will begin on Tuesday, September 11 featuring Diane Gorrick painting in Pastels & Watercolor.
October 9 will bring us Alexandra Walters painting in Colored Pencils. Her paintings often resemble other paint medias.
TCAA'S 18th Annual Open Show will again be held in the 'Friends Room' in the South Windsor Library, 1550 Sullivan Ave, South Windsor, CT 06074. For submissions and information contact Susan at 649-5353 before Oct. 25. An opening reception will be held on Sunday, Nov. 4 2-4 and all are welcome.
On November 13 Jack Broderick our neighbor as well as a world renowned artist will demonstrate painting a Portrait.
Our annual Holiday Fare Pot Luck will be held at the Tolland Arts Center after the Tuesday Painters session on December 11 at noon. Please contact Ronnie for information.
On March 11 we'll view Diana Lyn Cote doing oil sticks. Luscious garden scenes, interiors and landscapes in bright palettes.
April 8 will feature Sam D'Ambruoso demoing oil paints and techniques. Sam also has a full itinerary in Tuscany and the Amalfi coast painting & cooking workshops.
May 13 Susan Pecora will again critique the TCAA members works. Bring up to 2 paintings to the Congregational Church on Tolland Green where we will have our meeting this month.
June 10 will be our Annual year end Pot Luck Information as to where it will be this year will be released in May.
